The promoter is: Narrative House Limited


  • The title of the Narrative House Global Competition is "The Best of Stories" (the “Competition”).
  • The Competition is a unique competition revolving around Muslim friendly media content seeking to unearth and nurture new talent by assembling a community of talented content creators with a worldwide platform to showcase their media talents.

Competition Rules

LAUNCH DATE: 21 December 2021

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES: 22 February 2022

  1. Entries must be entered by the creator
  2. Entries must be original works by the creator
  3. Prizes are not negotiable or transferable
  4. All entries should be in English or include English subtitles for the benefit of our judges
  5. Decision of the judges is final
  6. Winners will be contacted using the details provided on entry
  7. Winners’ names will be published on NH platforms and social media channels
  8. Winners will be expected to attend the online awards ceremony

judging critera

  1. Every category has a judge or group of judges
  2. Entries in each category will be reviewed and scored separately based on the criteria for the category
  3. There is only one round of judging
  4. Each entry is judged independently on its own merit
  5. Entries are given one total score, based on the following criteria:
    • Creativity, Concept, Idea
    • Content, Objective, Execution
    • Visuals, Design, Composition
    • Overall Impression, Wow Factor,
    • Memorability
    • Relevance to the aims of the competition

The Competition submission window will be from 12:00am on 21 December 2021 (the “Opening Date”) to 12:00am on 22nd February 2022 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive. 

All Competition entries must be received by the Promoter and submitted via www.competition.narrativehouse.com  by no later than 23:59pm on the Closing Date.

The Promoter has the sole discretion in rejecting any entries received after the Closing Date.
The Promoter will not accept: responsibility for Competition entries that are lost regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the Competition.

By submitting a Competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

The Competition entries will be judged by a panel of judges. The decision of the panel of judges will be final.


The Competition is open to all residents of all nationalities aged 18 years or over, except employees or consultants of the Promoter; individuals who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or members of their immediate families or households.

In entering the Competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.

The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are: automatically generated by computer; completed by third parties other than the named entrant; illegible or non-viewable in any way, have been altered, reconstructed, forged, or tampered with; or incomplete.

There is no limit on entries for the Competition, regardless of category or subcategory. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed. The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the Prize Competition.

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value as determined by the Promoter (in its sole discretion) or if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.

The prizes are not negotiable or transferable.


We want to continue the tradition of storytelling by Muslims, right here and
with you. The decision of the judges nominated by the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into between the Judges and the entrants other than as directed by the Promoter.

The Promoter will make available information indicating that a valid award has taken place. To comply with this obligation, the Promoter will publish the names of major prize winners and, if applicable, the details of their winning entries on 14th March 2022 (Announcement Date) on www.competition.narrativehouse.com.

The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, though the Narrative House account of the entrant, using the details provided with the competition entry. The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the competition entry form has been submitted.

If you object to any or all of your surname, county, and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at [email protected].

The winner must acknowledge receipt of the messages from the Promoter and accept the award of the prize and provide any further information requested by the Promoter for the provision of the Prize.


The prize may not be claimed by a third party on any entrant’s behalf.

The Promoter will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 14 days of the Announcement Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.


Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize; except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors.


The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your competition entry. You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights in your entry.

You hereby grant us the right to modify your entry for promotional purposes only.

You also hereby grant us a perpetual non-exclusive worldwide irrevocable license to use, display, publish, transmit, copy, edit, alter or store your entry or your entry as modified, as set out above, as the Promoter sees fit.

You shall indemnify us against any claims, damages or losses resulting from any breach of any third party rights resulting from your entry.
